Alien Logger Terms of Service

Welcome to Alien Logger ("the Bot"). By adding the Bot to your Discord server, using its administrative logging features, or purchasing premium subscriptions, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately remove the Bot from your server.

Wherever referred to in this document, 'The Developer', 'we', 'us', or 'our' refers to the sole creator and operator of the Alien Logger Discord Bot.

1. Governing Law & Consumer Rights

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any legal disputes arising out of your use of the Bot will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) & Fair Trading Act 1986: If you are using this Bot for personal, non-commercial use, nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights or guarantees provided to you under New Zealand consumer law. However, if you are acquiring premium features or using this Bot strictly for the business/operational purposes of an organization or commercial entity, you agree that the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 do not apply.

The Bot is operated digitally by The Developer under the jurisdiction of New Zealand. In lieu of a physical business address, all official data-handling queries, statutory consumer requests, or legal notices are processed directly through our designated digital endpoints.

2. Age Restrictions and Verification Permissions

The Bot is designed for Roblox community management. In alignment with Discord and Roblox policies, you must be at least 13 years of age to use the Bot.

By utilizing commands that retrieve account information, you acknowledge that the Bot safely fetches data from third-party APIs (such as the RoVer API and official Roblox APIs). You must have the legitimate authority to run these administrative actions within your designated Discord server.

3. Acceptable Use and Enforcement

You agree to use the Bot only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe on the rights of, or restrict the use of the Bot by, any other user. You must not exploit bugs, target the infrastructure with denial-of-service attacks, or abuse API calls.

Global Blacklist System: To maintain the safety and integrity of our systems and users, we reserve the right to issue a global blacklist. If a user or an entire Discord server (Guild) is found violating our terms, attempting to exploit the Bot, or bypassing platform security, their Discord User ID or Guild ID will be stored in our security schema, permanently revoking their access to the Bot.

4. Server Administration and Public Displays

The Bot acts as an automated administrative logger that pushes custom rich embeds (e.g., displaying employee promotions, demotions, and target public Roblox avatars/headshots). Server owners and authorised administrators are solely responsible for managing channel permissions where these embeds are logged. We are not liable for the exposure of public account details resulting from poorly configured server roles or public log channels.

5. Premium Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

We offer premium tiers that unlock extended limits and additional features linked directly to your Discord User ID.

• Subscription Terms: When you purchase premium, we track data like your active-since date, subscription level, and renewal history to fulfill your service.
• No-Refund Policy: All digital transactions are final. Because access to premium perks is unlocked immediately upon payment processing, refunds are not offered for a change of mind, unexpected server closures, or if you or your server are globally blacklisted for violating our terms of service. This does not affect your statutory rights under New Zealand law if a major service failure occurs.

6. Privacy and Data Processing

Your privacy is paramount. All account caching, command logging, configuration storage, and global blacklist actions are strictly managed in compliance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. By accepting these terms, you also acknowledge and agree to our Privacy Policy, which details what data we collect, how we ensure accuracy, and how you can exercise your right to erasure.

7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Bot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, The Developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

We do not warrant that the Bot will be completely uninterrupted, free of errors, or that server settings/cache will never experience downtime. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use the Bot, including but not limited to missing administrative logs or synchronization lag with Roblox APIs.

8. Modifications and Termination

We reserve the right to modify, pause, or permanently terminate the Bot's functionality or update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Bot following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
